Originally from the Wirral, and having lived in London and Australia, I moved to Minal in 2009 becoming a Parish Councillor in 2018. With a 25 year background in the travel industry, I now run my own travel business as a Travel having previously headed up the tourist office for British Columbia in London. My two teenagers are at St John’s Academy, and when they were at Ramsbury Primary School, I was Treasurer of the PTA for many years. During their primary years, I graduated in the Certificate of School Business Management and worked at Chilton Foliat CE VA Primary School.
It was whilst exploring highway and transport options in Minal that I was approached to join the Parish Council, which was a natural area for me to support, get involved and contribute to my local community. I attend Marlborough Area Board’s Community Area Transport Group (CATG) meetings representing Minal’s interests.
