About Mildenhall

Mildenhall, pronounced Minal locally, is situated close to the River Kennet to the east of Marlborough. The village dates back to Saxon times although there was also a Roman settlement here called Cunetio and evidence of early man in the area. Further along is the hamlet of Stitchcombe also within the Parish area.
