Visit to Into the Blooms Wednesday 29 June 2022

10 members of the Club enjoyed a tour of the garden of Gill and John Campbell in East Grafton.  Gill is a florist who grows her own seasonal flowers for her business Into the Blooms.  Their 3 acre garden in the beautiful countryside circles the house and has many beautiful trees, shrubs, a large duck pond, impressive composting areas  as well as dedicated areas for the 3 sowing seasons of flowers.  We enjoyed tea and cookies baked by Michelin starred chef John and the weather was good with the rain holding off.  Gill’s website can be found here  https://www.intotheblooms.com/

Normally the Minal Gardening Club meets on the third Wednesday in the month.  In the winter months we meet in The Horseshoe at 7.30pm, and in the summer months, we visit members’ gardens which may be earlier depending on the sunset and weather.

We sometimes have talks from local people about gardening and topics such as design and encouraging wildlife but the aim of the club is more social and sharing experience and tips than learning from experts.

If you would like to share your interest in gardening with a sociable local group, then do come along to our meetings.  New members are most welcome to join us.
